No detours were announced, but motorists should expect delays through each work zone and watch for temporary ramp closures. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes when practical and allow extra travel time.

The resurfacing is part of PennDOT’s $83.6 million project to reconstruct approximately 2.1 miles of U.S. 422 and replace bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township. The milling and paving work between the Route 100 and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges was added to the larger reconstruction effort.
