Drivers will be directed to follow posted detour routes. PennDOT did not identify the specific roads included in those detours.

Motorists should plan extra time, expect delays near the interchange, and consider alternate routes when traveling through Montgomery County overnight.

Drivers should also prepare for continuing weeknight lane closures on northbound and southbound I-476 between the I-76 and I-95 interchanges in Montgomery and Delaware counties. Those restrictions are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM through early September.

The ramp closures are part of a $63.7 million project to resurface and improve nearly 17 miles of I-476, including its ramps and bridges.

Additional work includes repairs to 49 structures, improvements to 21 stormwater management basins, slope stabilization, sound wall repairs, drainage upgrades, and new pavement markings, rumble strips, signs, and guiderails.

H&K Group Inc., of Skippack, is the general contractor. The project is financed entirely with federal funds.
