According to PennDOT, Callowhill Road will be closed between Hilltown Pike and 5th Street from Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 24, weather permitting.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Minsi Trail, Route 313 (Dublin Pike), and 5th Street to travel around the work zone.
Local access will be maintained throughout the project, but motorists should expect delays and heavier traffic along the detour route. Plan extra time for travel and seek alternate routes when possible, especially during morning and afternoon travel periods.
The closure is needed so crews can complete base repairs intended to improve the long-term condition of the roadway.
Drivers should remain alert for detour signage, changing traffic patterns, and construction crews working near the road.
