According to PennDOT, Fairview Road will be closed between Little Conestoga Road and Route 401 (Conestoga Road) from Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, weather permitting.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Little Conestoga Road, Route 345 (Bulltown Road), and Route 401 (Conestoga Road) to travel around the work zone.
Local access will be maintained throughout the project, but motorists should expect delays and increased traffic along the detour route. Plan extra time for travel and seek alternate routes when possible, particularly during morning and afternoon travel periods.
The closure is necessary to allow PennDOT crews to complete base repairs intended to improve the long-term condition and durability of the roadway.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be adjusted if conditions warrant.
Drivers traveling through the area should remain alert for detour signage, changing traffic patterns, and construction crews working near the roadway.
