CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Suvoda has introduced an artificial intelligence-driven system designed to reduce the time required to launch clinical trials, the company announced.
The new system, called agentic RTSM, aims to shorten the timeline from project kickoff to user acceptance testing to as little as two weeks, compared with traditional startup periods that can take several months.
Suvoda said the technology builds on its existing randomization and trial supply management platform by using multiple AI agents to automate key stages of trial setup, including configuration, customization and testing.
The company said the system can reduce startup timelines by up to 80 percent, while also streamlining administrative tasks and providing study teams with additional data insights.
Agentic RTSM operates on Suvoda’s platform architecture, which includes a shared data layer and low-code tools designed to accelerate system builds without requiring full redevelopment for each trial.
Suvoda is currently deploying the system with a limited group of early users as it prepares for broader rollout.
Chief Executive Officer Jagath Wanninayake said the company developed the tool to address delays in trial startup.
“With agentic RTSM, we’re using AI to remove friction from trial startup—so sponsors can begin enrolling patients sooner,” Wanninayake said.
The company is also expanding its AI assistant, Sofia, to support monitoring, alerts and certain automated actions within trials.
Chief Product Officer E.K. Koh said the company plans to extend similar AI capabilities to other services, including electronic clinical outcome assessments and financial management tools tied to trials.
“Our goal is to make every moment in a trial smarter,” Koh said.
Suvoda provides clinical trial technology services to pharmaceutical companies and research organizations and has worked on thousands of trials, according to the company.
