PHILADELPHIA, PA & CHICAGO, IL — US Squash said Hightower will become the organization’s exclusive wealth management sponsor under a multi-year agreement that the governing body described as the largest corporate partnership in its history, as the sport prepares for its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
The agreement gives Hightower exclusive sponsorship rights in the wealth management category and includes sponsorship of the 2026 U.S. Open Squash Championships and the Desai Family U.S. Women’s and S.L. Green U.S. Men’s Squash Championships in Philadelphia.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The deal marks Hightower’s first major sports sponsorship investment and comes as squash organizations seek to capitalize on increased visibility tied to the sport’s inclusion in the LA28 Olympics.
“US Squash presents unique value and opportunity as the sport carries an audience that is influential, global, and deeply engaged, and the pathway to LA28 will only accelerate that trajectory,” Peter Carlisle, managing director of Olympics at Octagon, said in a statement.
The partnership was negotiated by Octagon’s Olympics division.
US Squash Chief Executive Officer Mollie Marcoux Samaan said the organization expects the partnership to support marketing, events, and member engagement as Olympic interest in the sport grows.
Hightower said it plans to use the partnership for hospitality events, client engagement, and financial education initiatives tied to major squash competitions.
“We see US Squash as a uniquely positioned organization with a strong community and a dynamic growth story, driven by the sport’s high level of athleticism and global momentum ahead of the Olympics,” Hightower CEO Larry Restieri said in a statement.
Squash will make its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles Games in 2028, with men’s and women’s competitions scheduled to be held at the Comcast Squash Center at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
US Squash is headquartered at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia, which serves as the national training center for the U.S. national team and hosts several major domestic and international tournaments annually.
