Signage.com CEO Earns Industry Honor as AI Strategy Gains Focus

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Hassan Qureshi, chief executive officer of Signage.com and chief operating officer of Futura Identities, has been named one of Sign Builder Illustrated’s 2026 Top Young Sign Makers as the company expands its use of artificial intelligence to help customers visualize custom signage before production.

The recognition comes as manufacturers and technology companies seek practical applications for artificial intelligence in physical product design, an area where buyers often must approve products before they are built.

Signage.com’s AI-powered Design Studio allows customers to upload a logo or describe their business to generate preliminary sign concepts before requesting a quote or beginning production planning. The company stated that the tool is intended for early-stage visualization and does not replace engineering drawings, permitting, structural review or installation planning.

Qureshi argued that artificial intelligence is most effective when it complements, rather than replaces, industry expertise.

“AI is usually discussed in the context of software, media, and marketing,” Qureshi stated. “But it can also help buyers make better decisions about custom physical products that do not exist yet.”

He added that experienced professionals remain essential for structural review, code compliance, permitting, production and installation.

The announcement cited Autodesk’s 2025 State of Design & Make report, which found that more than two-thirds of 5,594 surveyed industry leaders planned to increase investment in artificial intelligence, while 40% reported their organizations were approaching or had achieved their AI objectives.

The Top Young Sign Makers program recognizes five signage professionals under age 40 and is sponsored by EFI. Sign Builder Illustrated recognized Qureshi for his leadership at Futura Identities, whose projects include environmental branding and signage for Dunkin’ locations across the Northeast and Florida.

Qureshi indicated that Signage.com’s technology strategy is intended to improve customer decision-making rather than automate the end-to-end sign creation process.

“Customers should be able to understand their options, see what they are considering, and make informed decisions before a custom sign goes into production,” he stated.
