Located at 6151 Ridge Avenue, the new eatery will kick off its celebrations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:00 PM, followed by a festive party until 7:00 PM. The event promises a lively atmosphere with free chicken meals for hundreds, a DJ, and exciting giveaways.

The new location is a collaborative venture by Ikram Rashid, known for other Nanu’s sites in Philadelphia, and first-time owners Dayem Pervaiz and Kashif Almas. Their spice levels range from no spice to the daring ‘Reaper,’ ensuring something for every palate. The restaurant also offers smoothies in various flavors, adding a sweet twist to the fiery menu.

The Roxborough location features vibrant decor with art murals and seating for 20, providing an Instagram-worthy dining experience. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, it joins Nanu’s eight other locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, with a tenth soon to be announced.

Nanu’s Hot Chicken was founded by the Rashid brothers in honor of their brother Nanu, who has Down syndrome. The family business not only aims to deliver delicious meals but also plans to launch a charity initiative, continuing its commitment to community support.
