WEST CHESTER, PA — A. Duie Pyle has again been recognized for its environmental efforts, earning two prestigious industry honors. For the third consecutive year, the company has been named a Green Supply Chain Partner by Inbound Logistics and a Top Green Fleet by Heavy Duty Trucking (HDT).
These accolades highlight Pyle’s dedication to sustainability and innovation, highlighting its commitment to reducing environmental impact. This marks the eighth time A. Duie Pyle has achieved HDT’s Top Green Fleet distinction and the seventh time it has been acknowledged as an Inbound Logistics Green Supply Chain Partner.
Both awards celebrate organizations making measurable strides in sustainability. Inbound Logistics evaluates companies based on energy efficiency, emissions control, waste reduction, and the use of sustainable materials, while HDT identifies fleets implementing renewable fuels, advanced technologies, and eco-friendly operations to lower carbon footprints.
A. Duie Pyle’s initiatives include operating electric forklift fleets in 12 service centers, an effort that reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 2,343 metric tons of CO2e annually. The company also manages a solar-powered, 570,000-square-foot warehouse and recycles 80% of the water used at its truck washes, further demonstrating innovative sustainability practices.
