CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that construction will begin Monday, September 29, on a $6.8 million project to provide long-term sinkhole remediation along U.S. 30 (Exton Bypass) in West Whiteland and East Caln townships.

From Monday, September 29, through Friday, October 3, alternating lane closures will be in place between Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for survey operations. Drivers should expect delays and are advised to allow extra travel time.
