WYOMISSING, PA — Wyomissing police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest in connection with the alleged theft of a backpack aboard a BARTA bus.
According to the Wyomissing Police Department, the reported theft occurred June 27 in the 800 block of Penn Avenue in Wyomissing.
Police have released an image of an individual investigators consider a person of interest in the case. Authorities have not identified the individual or announced any charges.
Anyone who recognizes the person or has information about the individual’s identity is asked to contact the Wyomissing Police Department at 610-375-6102 or submit a tip through the department’s Crimewatch page.
Anonymous tips may also be submitted to Crime Alert Berks by calling 877-373-9913 or texting 847411. Text messages should begin with the word “ALERTBERKS.”
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
