UPPER CHICHESTER, PA — A 29-year-old man who had been wanted in connection with an alleged attempt to flee police surrendered to Upper Chichester Township authorities Aug. 24, according to police.
The Upper Chichester Township Police Department reported that Corey Sliwinski turned himself in at the department nine days after an arrest warrant was issued in the case.
According to police, Sliwinski was wanted on a charge of fleeing or attempting to elude police stemming from an alleged Aug. 15 incident. Authorities did not provide additional details about the circumstances that led to the charge.
Police reported that an arrest warrant was issued Aug. 15 by the Linwood District Court under docket number CR-353-2026. Before Sliwinski surrendered, Upper Chichester police had sought the public’s assistance in locating him.
Authorities also reported that Sliwinski was wanted on additional charges in Delaware. The nature of those charges was not provided.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
