BRYN MAWR, PA — Visiting Angels has named Tiffany Moon of Charleston, West Virginia, its 2026 National Caregiver of the Year, recognizing her work providing in-home care services and mentoring fellow caregivers across the company’s national network.
Moon, who has worked with Visiting Angels since 2019, was selected from more than 100 nominations submitted nationwide, the company said. In addition to providing care to clients, she has helped mentor nearly 100 caregivers through the organization’s training and support programs over the past seven years.
The annual award, now in its seventh year, recognizes caregivers who help seniors and other vulnerable individuals remain in their homes while providing professional and personal support.
“Tiffany embodies everything Visiting Angels aims to demonstrate, namely compassion, professionalism, and providing a genuine human connection to our clients,” Scott Parrish, president of Visiting Angels, said in a statement.
Moon received a $10,000 prize and was recognized during the company’s annual conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“I truly love my job, the people I work with, and the families I have the privilege of serving every day,” Moon said. “Coming alongside families during some of life’s most challenging moments and being the support they need is an incredible blessing.”
The company also recognized two national finalists: Amanda Williams of Visiting Angels Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and Eddie Thomas of Visiting Angels Northeast San Antonio, Texas. Each received a $5,000 award, while semi-finalists were awarded $1,000.
Visiting Angels, headquartered in Bryn Mawr, operates a nationwide network of home-care agencies that provide non-medical assistance to seniors and adults who need support to remain independent at home. The company said the annual recognition program is intended to highlight the role caregivers play in meeting the growing demand for in-home care services as the U.S. population ages.
