KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Hammer & Nails Grooming for Guys will open a King of Prussia Town Center location Sept. 12, expanding the men’s grooming chain into one of the Philadelphia region’s largest retail hubs with a service model spanning haircuts, beard care, nails, facials and waxing.

The location at 155 Main St., Suite 110, is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. and will offer both individual services and monthly memberships, according to the business.

The opening adds another personal-care tenant to King of Prussia Town Center, the mixed-use shopping and dining district near the King of Prussia Mall and the Interstate 76 and Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange.

Hammer & Nails positions itself beyond the conventional barbershop model, combining hair and beard services with nail and foot care, facial treatments, waxing and traditional shaving. Hair coloring marketed as Color Camo will also be available.

Each grooming station will have its own television, and the location will serve cocktails as part of an effort to build a longer-form grooming and relaxation experience around services that are often offered separately.

Owner Marcus Singletary characterized the concept as an alternative to treating personal grooming as a routine errand.

“Hammer & Nails is about raising the standard for men’s grooming—combining premium services, personal attention and an environment where our guests can truly sit back, relax and enjoy the experience,” Singletary stated.

The company will also offer monthly memberships designed for customers who use its grooming services regularly. Pricing for individual services and memberships was not included in the release.

The King of Prussia opening places Hammer & Nails about 20 miles west of Philadelphia in a retail market drawing customers from across the Valley Forge region.
