GLEN MILLS, PA — True North Fleet Services has expanded into the Midwest through a partnership with Indiana-based Miles Truck Services, extending the fleet maintenance platform’s geographic footprint and marking its sixth acquisition or partnership since launching in late 2025.
The deal adds Miles Truck Services’ operations in Elkhart, Indiana, and Niles, Michigan, to True North’s growing network of fleet repair and maintenance providers.
Founded in 2004 by Mike Mannell, Miles provides truck, trailer and fleet maintenance services for private-sector and municipal customers across northern Indiana and southern Michigan. Its offerings include preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, transmission repairs, hydraulic services, brake work and 24-hour roadside assistance.
The transaction gives Miles access to True North’s capital resources, technology infrastructure and administrative support as the company pursues additional growth opportunities in the region.
“From our earliest conversations with Gary and the True North team, it was clear they share our long-term vision for growth and understand the culture and customer-first approach that have defined our business for more than two decades,” Mannell said.
True North Chief Executive Officer Gary Price characterized the partnership as a strategic step in the platform’s expansion beyond its existing markets in the South and Mid-Atlantic.
The company cited Miles’ established presence among municipal and commercial fleet operators as a key factor in the transaction.
The partnership continues a rapid expansion strategy for True North, which launched in November 2025 and has since added operators in Louisiana, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Texas, Indiana and Michigan.
Previously announced platform partners include Total Tire Solutions in Baton Rouge, Elite Diesel and Myles Truck Repair in Georgia, PennFleet in the Philadelphia region and Billy Bob’s Repair and Tire in San Antonio.
True North is backed by Garnett Station Partners, a New York-based investment firm that manages approximately $4 billion in assets.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
