KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A Kennett Square man is facing multiple charges after police alleged he assaulted another man during an altercation that left the victim unconscious.
According to the Kennett Square Police Department, officers responded to an incident at approximately 9:52 p.m. July 9 in the 500 block of Center Street.
Police alleged that Javier Bedolla-Zavala, 56, struck an adult male victim in the face multiple times during the altercation, causing the victim to lose consciousness.
Bedolla-Zavala was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking at Chester County Prison, according to police.
He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. The case is awaiting a hearing in Chester County Court of Common Pleas.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
