OAKS, PA — SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) has appointed company veteran Rob Wrzesniewski to a newly created leadership role overseeing technology strategy for Stratos Wealth Holdings, deepening the integration between the wealth management platform and SEI’s broader technology and asset management operations.
Wrzesniewski was named Head of Stratos Technology within SEI’s Asset Management business and will report to Chief Product Officer Jeff Benfield and Stratos founder and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Concepcion, the company disclosed.
The appointment comes as SEI continues to expand its strategic relationship with Stratos following the completion of the first stage of its investment in Stratos Wealth Holdings in December 2025.
In his new role, Wrzesniewski will oversee advisor-facing technologies across the organization, with responsibility for technology strategy, platform alignment and long-term capability development. The position is intended to help align technology investments with advisor needs and SEI’s enterprise objectives.
The move underscores the growing importance of technology platforms in the wealth management industry, where firms are increasingly investing in digital tools, advisor productivity and integrated client experiences to remain competitive.
Wrzesniewski joined SEI in 1992 and has held leadership positions across the company’s advisor, private banking and investment management businesses. Most recently, he led the Global Solutions team for SEI’s Private Banking and Wealth Management unit.
“Rob has a deep understanding of how technology, product strategy, and advisor needs come together to drive real outcomes,” Benfield stated. He added that the appointment would help align Stratos’ technology investments with SEI’s enterprise priorities and support growth initiatives across its asset management business.
Concepcion described the appointment as an opportunity to strengthen the connection between Stratos’ platform strategy and SEI’s technology ecosystem, accelerating the delivery of new capabilities to advisors.
Wrzesniewski stated that advisory firms and investors increasingly expect “more connected, insight-driven experiences” and that scalable technology will be essential as firms navigate changing workflows and regulatory requirements.
SEI’s investment in Stratos has broadened the firm’s reach in the independent advisor market, combining Stratos’ client service and custodial relationships with SEI’s technology, operations and asset management capabilities.
