Wilmington Shooting Leaves Man Wounded as Police Seek Answers

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left a 39-year-old man wounded on West 7th Street.

Police reported that officers responded to the 800 block of West 7th Street at approximately 9:18 p.m. Sept. 1 for a reported shooting.

Officers located a 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police. He was transported to a hospital and was reported in stable condition.

Police did not provide information about a possible suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
