LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — Drivers should prepare for daytime lane restrictions on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) beginning Monday as tree trimming gets underway along a roughly four-mile stretch in Salisbury and Sadsbury townships.

Traffic will be maintained through the work zone using temporary lane restrictions and flagging. PennDOT did not provide specific daily work hours or an end date for the tree-trimming operation.
No detour is planned. Drivers should plan extra time when traveling through the four-mile work area and remain alert for flaggers, crews and equipment along Route 30.
The tree trimming marks the beginning of a broader $4.4 million resurfacing project stretching from Route 772 (Newport Road) in Salisbury Township to County Line Road in Sadsbury Township.
Base and joint repairs are expected to begin later this fall, with mainline paving on Route 30 scheduled for next spring. Short-term traffic patterns with flagging will be used to maintain traffic throughout construction.
Additional improvements include stormwater drainage work, a new wearing course and upgrades to guiderail and signs.
JVI Group Inc. of York Springs is the contractor. The overall project is expected to be completed by November 8, 2027.
