In Bucks County, periodic lane closures with flaggers directing traffic will affect Bustleton Pike between Route 232 (Second Street Pike) and Bristol Road in Northampton Township. Work is scheduled during daytime hours throughout the week.
In Delaware County, overnight lane closures will restrict I-95 between Wanamaker Avenue and the Philadelphia County line in Tinicum Township while crews perform pavement marking.
Additional overnight restrictions will affect Bryn Mawr Avenue between Foxes Run Bridge and County Line Road in Radnor Township. Flaggers will direct motorists through the paving operation.
PennDOT warns that backups and delays will occur near the construction areas. Drivers should allow extra travel time, follow posted traffic controls and remain alert for changing lane patterns.
The work is part of multiple highway improvement contracts covering more than 240 miles of state-maintained roads across the five-county Philadelphia region. The broader program includes pavement repairs, milling and asphalt resurfacing intended to improve roadway conditions.
All scheduled construction activities are weather dependent.
