BALA CYNWYD, PA — Radius Global Infrastructure, Inc. said it recently appointed Julian Plumstead as chief executive officer, succeeding Scott G. Bruce, who is retiring and will remain with the company as a senior advisor.
The company said Plumstead brings more than 30 years of experience in finance and digital infrastructure and will lead operations across all regions from the United Kingdom.
Plumstead previously held senior roles at financial institutions and at American Tower Corporation, where he served as chief commercial officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and later as CEO of ATC Europe.
He also oversaw mergers and acquisitions activity for American Tower across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, according to the company.
“We believe he is the right leader to guide this business into its next chapter of growth,” Alexander Greenbaum, a board member and partner at EQT Infrastructure, said.
Greenbaum also thanked Bruce for his leadership, citing his role in building the company’s platform.
Jean-Bastien Auger, a board member and managing director at PSP Investments, said the company expects Plumstead to build on its position in digital infrastructure.
“Radius has established itself as a global leader in the ownership and operation of mission-critical digital sites,” Plumstead said, adding that his focus will be on expanding the company’s portfolio and operations.
Radius Global invests in telecommunications infrastructure, including cell site leases, fiber networks, data centers, and towers, and operates more than 13,000 lease streams across 23 countries.
