CONSHOHOCKEN, PAQuaker Houghton marked a significant milestone on July 11, 2024, by breaking ground for its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Zhangjiagang, China. This expansion aims to bolster the company’s production capabilities and support its growing customer base in the Asia-Pacific region. The facility is slated to be operational by the second quarter of 2026.

Jeff Fleck, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Quaker Houghton, emphasized the importance of the new facility. “This facility will be a critical part of our global supply chain, reinforcing our position as a market leader in industrial process fluids,” he said. Fleck also expressed gratitude for the support from the Zhangjiagang Municipal Government.

The new facility combines advanced technology with Quaker Houghton’s longstanding tradition of manufacturing excellence and safety. This strategic move reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings in key industrial sectors, such as steel, aluminum, automotive, beverage can, mining, and wind power.
