KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — People2.0 announced the recent appointment of Matt Levin as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Levin succeeds Erik Vonk, who will continue in his role as Chairman of People2.0.
“We are pleased to welcome Matt as CEO of People2.0,” said Vonk. “With more than two decades of leadership experience in human capital management services and technology, benefits, and health insurance, and an impressive track record of building companies into industry leaders, Matt is ideally suited to lead People2.0 in the next phase of its evolution. Matt is also a strong cultural fit for our organization and I look forward to partnering closely with him to drive our continued growth.”
Levin joins People2.0 from Benefitfocus, where he has served as President and CEO since 2021 and led the company’s successful sale to Voya Financial earlier this year. He previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at ADP where he was responsible for the company’s overall growth strategy, corporate development, ADP Ventures, and the ADP Research Institute. Earlier in his career, Levin held senior roles at Aon plc and Hewitt Associates. He was a core member of the team that led the $4.9 billion merger between Aon Consulting and Hewitt Associates, creating an industry-leading benefits and human resources solutions firm. Levin holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
“Modern workplaces are undergoing a remarkable transformation, driven by technological advancements and evolved expectations around flexible, on-demand and remote work,” said Levin. “The need for high-quality and efficient outsourced HR services to manage your workforce has never been more critical. People2.0 has been ahead of the curve in this market and with one of the most comprehensive global services platforms, the company is well positioned to further expand its leadership role as an enabler of contemporary, flexible work arrangements around the world. I’m eager to partner with Erik and the team to capitalize on the opportunities ahead.”
Levin joins People2.0 at a time of considerable momentum for the company. With support from TPG and following a significant investment from TPG Growth, the firm’s middle market and growth equity platform, People2.0 has added four highly strategic acquisitions and expanded the number of company-owned and operated in-country EOR/AOR establishments to 52, while continuing to enhance the company’s sector leading technology platform.
