TREDYFFRIN TWP, PA — Tredyffrin Township is set to commence a series of utility improvements on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), an operation that promises to significantly impact weekday traffic throughout May. Commencing Wednesday, May 1, and slated to continue until Friday, May 31, these enhancements will necessitate a lane closure on the westbound side of U.S. 30 between Leopard Road and Berwyn Paoli Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Motorists are cautioned to expect delays and are advised to allocate additional travel time when navigating through this stretch. The anticipated backups stem from the narrowed roadway, which will constrict the usual flow of traffic to accommodate the construction activities. Given the critical nature of the work, patience and planning are recommended for commuters who regularly traverse this route.

The undertaking of these utility improvements under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit. Drivers traversing the affected segment of U.S. 30 in the coming month should prepare for a slower commute and consider alternative routes if possible. All work is weather dependent.
