KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Nocopi Technologies Inc. (OTCQB: NNUP) appointed Beth Vasy to lead the integration and commercial expansion of Polymeric Group after the recently acquired specialty-ink business recorded mid-single-digit revenue growth in the second quarter.
Polymeric’s preliminary, unaudited net revenue increased by a mid-single-digit percentage during the quarter ended June 30 compared with the same period in 2025. Standalone revenue exceeded $5.3 million for the 12 months ended June 30.
Nocopi acquired Polymeric in May, marking its first acquisition. The company did not provide the transaction’s financial terms in the information released with the operational update.
Vasy will serve as vice president of growth, a newly created position overseeing post-acquisition integration and efforts to expand sales from the combined company’s specialty inks and coatings portfolio.
Integration work is being led by Executive Director of Operations Gregory S. Babe. Nocopi reported that its facilities in King of Prussia and Kansas City are moving toward higher capacity utilization as operations are combined.
Polymeric General Manager and Chief Technology Officer Deverakonda Sarma will continue leading the acquired business’s technical and customer operations. Vasy will work with Sarma’s team on commercial expansion and operational alignment.
“The initial performance of Polymeric Group through June 30 has been resilient,” Nocopi President Kevin Westenburg stated, adding that Vasy’s appointment is intended to support organic growth and improve execution across the expanded operation.
Vasy previously served as vice president of operations at Liquid X Printed Metals, where she helped develop the company from an early-stage silver-ink business into a supplier of multiple metal-based products.
Her work at Liquid X included capital raising, intellectual-property expansion and negotiations with electronic-component and medical-device manufacturers.
Vasy holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. Her earlier experience included technology commercialization work and research management at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
