Core Borings Planned Next Week on I-95 South in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that core borings are scheduled at night next week on southbound Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.

On Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Girard Avenue (Exit 23) and I-676 (Exit 22) interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.
