WEST CHESTER, PA — In a routine patrol that led to an unexpected discovery, the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department apprehended a 43-year-old man from New Castle, Delaware, on allegations of possessing stolen property.

The incident unfolded on April 11, 2024, around 3:18 pm along the 1000 block of Wilmington Pike. An officer, during standard patrol duties, was alerted to the presence of a stolen vehicle within the vicinity. A subsequent traffic stop initiated a deeper investigation, culminating in the arrest of Taron Brown.

Brown faces charges of receiving stolen property among other related allegations following the police action.

While the charges suggest a significant legal challenge for Brown, it is essential to remember that these are, at present, merely allegations. Brown is presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty in a court of law.
