BLUE BELL, PA — Acumen Health Holdings, LLC has announced an agreement through its subsidiary, PRN Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals, LLC, to acquire the Avenova® brand from NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. This strategic acquisition includes a range of ocular health products such as cleansing sprays, absorbent wipes, and heated eye masks. The highlight of the brand is the Avenova® Lid & Lash Cleansing Spray, known for its use of hypochlorous acid to support eye hygiene.
Scheduled to close in the fourth quarter of 2024, this acquisition is expected to bolster PRN’s product offerings and enhance their reach in the eye health sector. Scott Woodruff, CEO of Acumen Health Holdings, stated, “The Brand pioneered the use of hypochlorous acid in eyecare and has a long history of success in the professional channel.
