Unisys Expands AI Services Through Rafay Partnership

Unisys Corporation

BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) has partnered with Rafay Systems to expand its enterprise artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure offerings, a move aimed at helping organizations deploy and manage AI workloads across hybrid computing environments while addressing growing compliance, security, and operational requirements.

The agreement combines Unisys’ managed cloud and AI services with Rafay’s infrastructure orchestration platform, creating a unified offering for companies seeking to move AI projects from pilot programs into production environments.

The partnership comes as enterprises accelerate AI adoption while confronting the technical and governance challenges associated with large-scale deployments. According to Unisys, only 36% of organizations report being prepared to support AI workloads at scale.

Under the arrangement, Unisys will incorporate Rafay’s self-service orchestration technology into its Cloud, Applications & Infrastructure portfolio, enabling customers to manage AI applications and graphics-processing-unit-intensive workloads across public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments.

The companies said the platform is designed to provide centralized governance, lifecycle management, security controls, and operational oversight for AI deployments.

The partnership also expands Unisys’ capabilities in Kubernetes orchestration, hybrid-cloud management, and cost monitoring, areas that have become increasingly important as enterprises seek greater visibility into AI infrastructure spending.

Manju Naglapur, senior vice president and general manager of Cloud, Applications & Infrastructure at Unisys, said the collaboration is intended to help clients operationalize AI while maintaining regulatory and governance standards.

“This unified approach reduces complexity and helps our clients confidently navigate compliance demands amidst innovation while optimizing costs and control across hybrid environments,” Naglapur said.

For Rafay, the partnership broadens distribution of its orchestration technology within enterprise IT environments, particularly among organizations deploying AI services in regulated industries.

Haseeb Budhani, chief executive officer and co-founder of Rafay Systems, said the companies are focused on helping enterprises accelerate AI adoption while maintaining governance controls.

The alliance reflects a broader trend across the technology sector as service providers, cloud operators, and infrastructure companies position themselves to capture growing enterprise spending on AI deployment, management, and compliance solutions.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
