PHILADELPHIA, PA — Drivers across Bucks, Philadelphia and Chester counties should expect daytime lane closures from Monday, July 27, through Thursday, July 30, as crews repair Intelligent Transportation Systems equipment on four major highways. Plan extra time because backups and delays are expected.

On Monday, July 27, the right lane will close on southbound U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) between the Pennsylvania Avenue and Pine Groove Road interchanges in Falls TWP and Morrisville BORO, Bucks County.
On Tuesday, July 28, the right lane will close on westbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) between the I-676 Interchange and the Spring Garden Street overpass in Philadelphia.
On Wednesday, July 29, the right lane will close on northbound I-95 between the Longshore Avenue underpass and the Cottman Avenue Interchange in Philadelphia.
On Thursday, July 30, the right lane will close on northbound U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) between Dilworthtown Road and Route 926 (Street Road) in Birmingham TWP and Thornbury TWP, Chester County.
No detours have been announced. Drivers should reduce speed through the work zones, expect delays and seek alternate routes when practical.
The work is part of a $5.9 million project to repair or replace Intelligent Transportation Systems equipment across the five-county Philadelphia region. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
