WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect and several potential witnesses following an aggravated assault and robbery reported in the borough earlier this month.
According to the West Chester Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 3:20 a.m. on May 22 to investigate a reported aggravated assault and strong-arm robbery that allegedly occurred at approximately 2:38 a.m. in the 100 block of North Darlington Street.
Police said an investigation determined the suspect is believed to be a college-aged white male with brown hair, standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. According to investigators, the suspect was wearing a white T-shirt and black sweatpants at the time of the incident.
Authorities said the suspect has not yet been identified, and a photograph of the individual has been released as part of the investigation.
Police also reported that several witnesses were present during the incident but have not yet been identified.
