MALVERN, PA — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) has announced the launch of its TSM3 series multi-turn, surface-mount cermet trimmers, targeting applications in industrial, consumer, and telecom sectors where space and ruggedness are crucial.

The TSM3 series features a compact 3 mm by 4 mm by 4 mm design, touting a 25% smaller case size compared to prior generations. Engineered for exceptional durability, these trimmers operate across an extensive temperature range from -65 °C to +150 °C and are fully sealed with IP67-rated protection, ensuring reliability in demanding environments.

One of the standout capabilities of the TSM3 is its fine-tuning potential, accommodating a wide resistance range of 10 Ω to 2 MΩ. Offering a faster setting time than single-turn counterparts, the trimmers enhance precision while supporting diverse design requirements with both top- and side-adjustment options. Additionally, the devices feature a 0.125 W power rating at +70 °C, providing flexibility for a broad range of systems.

Vishay’s new trimmers are designed to integrate seamlessly into automated PCB assembly lines, reducing production time and costs.
