Triple-I Georgia Tort Reform Campaign Earns Hermes Awards

MALVERN, PA — Insurance Information Institute received honorable mention recognition in two categories at the Hermes Creative Awards for a 2025 public awareness campaign tied to Georgia tort reform legislation, the organization announced.

The campaign was recognized in the Advertising Campaign and Outdoor/Out-of-Home Advertising Campaign categories for efforts aimed at building support for legal system reforms in Georgia.

According to Triple-I, the campaign focused on raising awareness about what the organization characterized as “legal system abuse” and its impact on insurance premiums and consumer costs. The effort included digital and outdoor advertising, social media outreach and a petition campaign directed at state lawmakers.

The campaign supported legislation backed by Brian Kemp that ultimately passed the Georgia General Assembly and was signed into law.

Triple-I stated the campaign included infographics, billboard advertising near the Georgia State Capitol and digital advocacy efforts encouraging constituents to contact legislators in support of the tort reform package.

Chief Executive Officer Sean Kevelighan indicated the campaign was intended to inform policymakers and residents about the relationship between litigation costs and insurance pricing.

The organization reported its Facebook advertising campaign generated nearly 986,000 impressions and more than 20,000 clicks, with a click-through rate approaching 15%. Triple-I also stated that more than 200 advocates participated in a letter-writing effort that sent 443 messages to lawmakers supporting the legislation.
