NEW CASTLE, DE — Authorities are investigating a series of alleged thefts that occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday, November 14, 2024, along the Route 9 corridor in New Castle County. Several neighborhoods and areas, including Rogers Manor, Collins Park, Boothhurst, Van Dyke Village, Rutledge off Route 71, and the Glasgow Court Trailer Park in Newark, reported incidents of theft.

Stolen items reportedly included motor vehicles, weapons, credit cards, and other personal belongings. Detectives from the New Castle County Police and New Castle City Police Department are coordinating efforts as part of the ongoing investigation.

Officials have released video footage related to the incidents, which captures two suspects believed to be connected to the thefts. Authorities caution that the video contains an obscene gesture, advising viewer discretion.
