PennDOT said a lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S. 30 between Airport Road and Route 340 (Kings Highway) during overnight hours as crews continue paving operations under a corridor improvement project.
The restrictions are scheduled nightly from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM between Monday, June 8, and Friday, June 12.
No detour has been announced, but motorists should expect reduced traffic capacity through the work zone and possible slowdowns during active construction periods.
The paving work is part of a $9.3 million project designed to improve travel and safety along the western section of the Coatesville Downingtown Bypass. Improvements include milling, base repairs, asphalt overlay, rumble strip replacement, and new pavement markings intended to extend the roadway’s service life.
Drivers traveling through the corridor during overnight hours should plan extra time, remain alert for changing traffic patterns, and seek alternate routes if delays develop.
All scheduled work is weather dependent.
