The paving work is part of an ongoing $9.3 million project to improve travel and safety along the western section of the Coatesville Downingtown Bypass. In addition to paving, the project includes milling, base repairs, installation of a new bituminous overlay, replacement of edge-line rumble strips, and refreshed pavement markings to extend the life of the roadway.

The project corridor spans the City of Coatesville and portions of Caln, Sadsbury, Valley, and West Caln townships.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent and may be adjusted if conditions warrant.
