Lane Closures Continue on U.S. 1 for $10.4 Million Improvement Project

Traffic, flagging

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that weekday lane closures will continue on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between the Kennett Oxford Bypass and Greenwood Road in Kennett and East Marlborough townships as part of a $10.4 million widening and safety improvement project.

Through Wednesday, December 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures will be in place in both directions. Motorists should expect backups and delays when traveling through the area. All work is weather dependent.
