PHILADELPHIA, PA — Chester County drivers will face daytime lane restrictions on Chestnut Tree Road beginning Monday, September 21, as PennDOT launches another round of resurfacing work affecting highways across five Philadelphia-area counties.

Chester County
Chestnut Tree Road will have a lane closure with flagging between Horseshoe Pike and Route 82 (Manor Road) in Honey Brook and West Nantmeal townships from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Crews will perform milling, paving, and utility adjustments.
Bucks County
Woodbourne Road will have periodic lane closures with flagging between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Big Oak Road in Middletown Township from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The restrictions will run Monday through Friday for milling, base repairs, and utility adjustments.
Delaware County
Interstate 95 will have overnight lane closures between Wanamaker Avenue and the Philadelphia County line in Tinicum Township from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Sunday through Friday, for milling and paving.
Montgomery County
Route 663 (King Street/Charlotte Street) will have lane closures with flagging between Route 100 (Pottstown Boyertown Bypass) and Route 73 (Big Road).
The restrictions are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, in Pottstown Borough and Lower Pottsgrove and New Hanover townships.
Philadelphia County
Ridge Avenue will have daytime lane closures between Domino Lane and Spring Garden Street from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday, for preparation work.
Overnight paving will close a lane on Ridge Avenue between Hunting Park Avenue and Spring Garden Street from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
Girard Avenue will have daytime lane closures between Lancaster Avenue and Lansdowne Drive from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for line striping.
Berkley Street/Roberts Avenue will have daytime lane closures between Germantown Avenue and Henry Avenue during the same dates and hours for line striping.
Ramps at the U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) and Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) interchange will close from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Thursday, September 24, and Friday, September 25. Drivers will follow posted detour signs. PennDOT did not identify the specific roads included in those detours.
The ramp from northbound I-95 to Allegheny Avenue at Exit 25 will close from 9:00 PM Wednesday, September 30, until 6:00 AM Thursday, October 1. Drivers will be directed to use the Aramingo Avenue ramp at Exit 26, continue on Aramingo Avenue, and follow Westmoreland Street.
Drivers should plan extra time, expect delays, and seek alternate routes where possible. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
The restrictions are part of multiple PennDOT contracts to repair, resurface, and improve more than 240 miles of state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
