PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are seeking the public’s help in identifying three men allegedly involved in a shooting incident that followed a neighborhood fight earlier this month.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division, officers are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 11:50 a.m. on May 17 in the 100 block of Manheim Street.
Police said surveillance video captured a fight involving several males in the area. According to investigators, one of the individuals involved in the altercation allegedly called for assistance after the fight ended.
Authorities reported that two additional men arrived a short time later carrying firearms. Investigators allege that one of the men fired multiple shots into a crowd, while another was seen holding a firearm but did not discharge it.
Police said no injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.
According to investigators, the suspects are described as:
- Suspect No. 1: A Black male wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.
- Suspect No. 2: A Black male with cornrows wearing black pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and a white shirt. Police allege this individual fired the shots.
- Suspect No. 3: A Black male with braids wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Police said this individual was seen carrying a firearm.
The Philadelphia Police Department advised the public not to approach the suspects. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3183 or 215-686-3184 and reference case number DC 26-39-036360.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
