WILMINGTON, DE — Trialbee has appointed Michael Meerovich as chief financial officer, adding a veteran software and healthcare technology finance executive as the patient recruitment technology company expands its artificial intelligence capabilities and global operations.
Meerovich, who is based in New York, will oversee the company’s financial strategy and support growth initiatives as Trialbee continues expanding its technology platform and international footprint, the company reported.
The appointment comes as Trialbee invests in its AI-enabled Honey Platform and seeks to capitalize on growing demand from biopharmaceutical companies conducting large clinical trials. The company also cited a recent strategic investment from Varsity Healthcare Partners and five consecutive years of growth.
Meerovich most recently served as chief financial officer at digital health company Mobile Health. He previously held senior finance leadership positions at Sword Health and Collibra, where he helped scale finance and operational functions during periods of growth.
“I’m always drawn to companies focused on making a positive impact on society,” Meerovich stated. “Patient recruitment is an incredibly fragmented, complex, and manual part of the drug development process that often drives significant delays and cost overruns in clinical trials. Trialbee possesses both the technology and the world-class team to help solve that massive problem.”
Chief Executive Officer Matt Walz indicated the appointment is intended to strengthen the company’s financial infrastructure as it expands its product offerings and customer base.
“Our pace of innovation is multiplying while our customers, partnerships and offerings are expanding quickly, evidenced by the new AI capabilities we’ve been releasing with our Honey Platform,” Walz stated. “Michael’s strategic counsel and financial expertise will bring a step change in how we scale as a business while executing our strategic priorities and managing our growth.”
Meerovich holds an MBA in finance and strategy from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Penn State University.
