During the closure, drivers will be directed to continue on Castor Street and turn left onto Richmond Street to access the ramp to northbound I-95 at the Girard Avenue Interchange.

Motorists should expect changing traffic patterns and possible delays near the closure and along the detour route. Plan extra time for travel and seek alternate routes if congestion develops.

The work is part of PennDOT’s I-95 Section GR8 project, which is upgrading and expanding Intelligent Transportation Systems equipment across highways throughout the region.
