MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers in Upper Moreland and Lower Moreland townships should prepare for significant daytime disruptions as PennDOT schedules extended weekday closures on Terwood Road for base repair operations through mid-May.

Two separate sections of Terwood Road will be closed on weekdays during working hours. The first closure runs between Edgehill Road and Davisville Road, while the second affects the stretch between Edgehill Road and Route 63 (Welsh Road).
Drivers traveling through the area should expect detours and delays. For the Davisville Road closure, motorists will be directed to use Edgehill Road, Route 63 (Moreland Road), Route 611 (Old York Road), and Davisville Road. For the Welsh Road closure, drivers will be routed along Edgehill Road and Route 63 (Old Welsh Road/Welsh Road).
Local access will remain available throughout the project, including access for residents, school buses, and emergency services.
Motorists are strongly advised to plan extra time, expect backups, and seek alternate routes where possible during construction hours.
