EMBREEVILLE, PA — Pennsylvania State Police in Embreeville reported a series of incidents across Chester County in April and late March, including crashes, assaults, thefts, and DUI-related investigations, with multiple cases still under investigation, according to police records.
Police reported a crash on Wednesday, April 30 at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Compass Road just north of Beaver Dam Road in Honey Brook Township. According to investigators, a southbound 2010 Hyundai Sonata allegedly crossed the double yellow line and struck a northbound vehicle. Police reported the driver was suspected of impairment and was taken into custody for further evaluation.
In Atglen Borough, police reported a crash on Tuesday, April 22 at approximately 11:04 a.m. on Swan Road near Upper Valley Road. According to investigators, a vehicle traveling north allegedly entered a single-lane bridge area and struck an oncoming tractor-trailer after crossing into the opposing lane.
Police reported another crash on Monday, April 28 at approximately 7:24 a.m. at Strasburg Road and Shadyside Road in West Bradford Township. According to investigators, a westbound vehicle allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign and struck another vehicle before leaving the scene.
In Caln Township, police reported a crash on Friday, April 25 at approximately 3:01 a.m. on the U.S. 30 Bypass near mile marker 277.6. According to investigators, a vehicle allegedly traveled across the roadway and struck a concrete median before coming to rest.
Police reported another crash on Friday, April 25 at approximately 2:26 p.m. on Manor Road at Creek Road in West Nantmeal Township. According to investigators, one driver allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign, resulting in a collision with another vehicle.
Troopers also reported a crash on Wednesday, April 16 at approximately 12:53 p.m. on the U.S. 30 Bypass West near mile marker 275.3 in Caln Township. According to investigators, one driver allegedly failed to notice stopped traffic ahead and struck another vehicle from behind.
In South Coventry Township, police reported a crash on Monday, April 21 at approximately 6:17 p.m. on Ridge Road west of Pottstown Pike. According to investigators, one driver allegedly followed too closely and struck another vehicle.
In Honey Brook Township, police reported an assault on Wednesday, April 30 involving a 16-year-old male suspect and a 37-year-old male victim. According to investigators, the victim was allegedly struck multiple times during an altercation.
Police also reported a domestic-related incident on Sunday, March 2 in Honey Brook Township involving a 34-year-old woman accused of striking a 33-year-old male victim in the face.
In Honey Brook Township, police reported a separate domestic-related incident on Saturday, April 19 at a residence on Horseshoe Pike involving a 53-year-old male accused of harassment following an alleged physical altercation.
In West Bradford Township, police reported on Monday, April 27 that troopers received a ChildLine report of suspected abuse or neglect involving a 13-year-old female. The investigation remains ongoing.
Police reported a theft in South Coventry Township in April in which a 75-year-old woman discovered an unauthorized line of credit had allegedly been opened in her name.
In Honey Brook Township, police reported a theft in April involving a 37-year-old woman whose bank card was allegedly used without authorization for $618.48.
In East Nantmeal Township, police reported a theft in April involving a SonoSite Edge II ultrasound machine valued at approximately $21,500.
Police also reported a theft in April in West Bradford Township in which a 65-year-old woman stated a suspect entered her residence and removed a set of keys.
Troopers reported an additional theft in April in West Bradford Township involving a stolen Springfield XD9 9mm firearm.
In West Bradford Township, police reported an incident in April in which a 73-year-old man stated a suspect entered his property and defecated near a roadway. The case was later closed at the victim’s request.
In West Sadsbury Township, police reported on Saturday, February 8 that troopers responded to a business alarm at 332 Commons Drive and issued a non-traffic citation following the investigation.
In West Bradford Township, police reported in April a DUI-related incident involving a 23-year-old man following a traffic stop. According to investigators, the operator allegedly showed signs of impairment.
In Caln Township, police reported a DUI-related crash in April involving a 36-year-old man following a collision with a guardrail. According to investigators, the driver allegedly showed signs of impairment at the scene.
Police also reported a crash on Monday, April 7 at approximately 8:43 p.m. on Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Township. According to investigators, a vehicle allegedly left the roadway and struck a utility pole before the driver was transported to a hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Authorities reported additional incidents, including harassment complaints, disturbances, and dog law violations, remain under investigation across multiple municipalities.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
