Gunfire Leaves Man Wounded on Wilmington Street

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington police are investigating a Friday night shooting that left a 28-year-old man wounded.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded at approximately 10:46 p.m. July 31 to the 900 block of Vandever Avenue for a reported shooting.

Police said officers located a 28-year-old gunshot victim. The man was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

The department did not provide additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or identify any suspects.
