NEWARK, DE — Cybersecurity company SOCRadar has introduced a dual-layer application programming interface (API) suite that allows managed security service providers to automate threat intelligence services for multiple customers or incorporate raw intelligence data into proprietary products, expanding how security firms can deliver and commercialize cybersecurity tools.
The new offering combines automated platform management with direct access to underlying threat intelligence data, allowing partners to choose between deploying SOCRadar’s existing technology and developing customized security applications.
The company said the system targets managed security service providers (MSSPs), technology vendors and large enterprises that require threat intelligence capabilities across multiple customers or internal platforms.
One component, the Multi-Tenant API, enables providers to automate customer account provisioning, license management, security alerts and platform configuration.
Those functions are intended to reduce administrative work for security firms operating services across multiple client organizations.
The second component, the Advanced API, provides direct access to SOCRadar’s underlying threat intelligence data.
That access allows partners to develop their own analytical models, security features and customer-facing applications rather than relying exclusively on predefined outputs from the company’s platform.
The two approaches address different operating models within the cybersecurity services market.
Providers seeking to resell or rebrand existing security capabilities can use the automated platform infrastructure, while companies developing proprietary products can incorporate SOCRadar’s intelligence into their own systems.
Huzeyfe Onal, SOCRadar’s co-founder and chief executive officer, said the company designed the offering to accommodate both approaches without requiring partners to select separate technology providers.
“For those who want a finished, white-label product, we provide an automated engine that provisions, licenses, and manages tenants at scale,” Onal said. “For those who want to build, we open direct access to the raw intelligence that powers SOCRadar.”
The Multi-Tenant API supports two-way communication between partner systems and SOCRadar’s platform, enabling automated administration of customer environments and security operations.
The Advanced API provides the underlying data needed for partners to create differentiated intelligence products, including custom models and interfaces.
By combining those capabilities, SOCRadar is extending its role beyond supplying threat intelligence through its own platform to supporting third-party security products and managed services.
The expansion gives cybersecurity providers additional options for scaling customer operations while retaining control over how threat intelligence is incorporated into their services.
