ShowMojo Adds AI Voice Agent to Automate Leasing Follow-Up

CLAYMONT, DE — ShowMojo has added an outbound AI voice agent that automatically calls and texts prospective renters within five minutes of an inquiry, expanding its leasing automation platform to pursue leads that do not immediately schedule property tours.

The AI Outbound Voice Leasing Agent is available to ShowMojo customers and was developed in partnership with Super. It complements ShowMojo’s existing AI agent for inbound leads, extending automation across both incoming inquiries and outbound follow-up.

ShowMojo is targeting the period immediately after a prospective renter submits an inquiry through a syndicated listing site. The company describes the first five minutes as a critical window before a lead may lose interest or move to another property.

The timing also addresses an after-hours staffing problem for property managers. ShowMojo estimates roughly two-thirds of prospective renters make inquiries at night or on weekends, when leasing teams may have limited capacity to respond.

When an inquiry arrives without a scheduled tour, the agent automatically initiates a phone call and text message within five minutes. It can answer property-specific questions, provide real-time showing availability and book a tour directly on the property manager’s calendar.

Interactions, outcomes and summaries are then synchronized with ShowMojo’s platform, reducing the need for staff to enter the same information manually.

“This isn’t just an automated follow-up,” ShowMojo Chief Executive Officer Vanessa Anderson said. “This is a capable, conversational agent that can handle renter questions and schedule showings.”

The company is positioning the technology as a way for property managers to increase showing volume and reduce the staff time spent pursuing prospective renters, with the broader goal of shortening property vacancy periods.

The outbound agent was piloted by property management users before its broader availability. ShowMojo did not identify pilot participants in the supplied material.

Super Chief Executive Officer Lindsay Liu said the integration is designed to put voice AI into the leasing process when prospective renters first express interest.

“The AI Outbound Voice Leasing Agent supports leasing teams around the clock, responding to prospects right away, answering their questions, and most importantly, filling tours,” Liu said.

The outbound capability adds to ShowMojo’s broader leasing automation system, which is designed to engage prospective renters across the leasing process.
