PERKASIE, PA — Jennifer Simpson Carr, vice president of strategic development at Furia Rubel Communications, has been named a 2026 PRNEWS Top Women in PR & Communications “Change-Maker,” recognition that highlights the growing role of business development and reputation management professionals as organizations navigate an increasingly complex communications landscape.
The award was presented during a June 4 ceremony in New York City recognizing communications leaders across public relations, marketing, media, and technology.
Carr oversees relationship management and business development efforts at Furia Rubel, a Pennsylvania-based communications agency that works extensively with law firms and organizations facing reputational, litigation, and crisis-related challenges.
Her role includes identifying market trends and helping connect those developments to client growth and reputation strategies, areas that have gained prominence as organizations contend with rapid changes in technology, media consumption, and stakeholder expectations.

Carr holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from East Stroudsburg University, a graduate certificate in marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Mini-MBA in Digital Marketing from Rutgers Business School, and has completed executive education studies at Columbia Business School.
