- Dates: Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12
- Times: 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM

PennDOT said lane and shoulder closures will occur nightly on sections of northbound and southbound Interstate 476 between the Interstate 76 and Interstate 95 interchanges.
The restrictions are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night from Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, while crews perform shoulder paving and sweeping operations.
No detours have been announced, but motorists should expect reduced traffic capacity through active work zones and possible backups during overnight travel periods.
Drivers traveling the Blue Route are encouraged to plan extra time, remain alert for changing traffic patterns, and seek alternate routes if delays develop.
The work is part of PennDOT’s $63.7 million project to resurface, repair, and improve nearly 17 miles of I-476, including ramps, bridges, drainage systems, guiderails, signs, and other roadway infrastructure. The project is designed to improve ride quality, extend the highway’s service life, and enhance safety along one of the region’s busiest corridors.
All scheduled work is weather dependent.
