Mahathi Infotech, Intrepid Risk Partner on P&C Claims

Business News

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Mahathi Infotech and Intrepid Risk formed a strategic partnership aimed at helping property and casualty insurers integrate technology, AI and operational services as carriers face mounting pressure to modernize claims and underwriting operations.

The companies said the partnership combines Mahathi’s insurance technology capabilities with Intrepid Risk’s consulting and business-services network to deliver integrated services for insurers seeking to reduce operational complexity and improve claims outcomes.

Mahathi’s offerings include modernization of core insurance systems, underwriting and claims workbenches, AI-driven business tools and rapid application development for P&C carriers.

Intrepid Risk focuses on carrier consulting and maintains relationships across managed care, litigation support and claims-related business services, including special investigations unit support.

Vishwa Ganapathy, founder of Mahathi Infotech, framed the partnership as a response to insurers seeking broader operational support rather than standalone technology deployments.

“Insurance carriers are increasingly looking for partners who can help them solve business problems, not simply implement technology,” Ganapathy said. “Our partnership with Intrepid Risk allows Mahathi to combine our insurance technology expertise with a broader business services ecosystem to deliver better claims outcomes, greater operational efficiency, and measurable value for carriers.”

Steven Mazefsky, president of Intrepid Risk Associates, noted that insurers are facing rising claims complexity alongside increased demand for digital and AI-enabled systems.

“Carriers need the right mix of technology, AI capabilities, and business services working in tandem to deliver true value,” Mazefsky said.

The companies positioned the partnership as part of a broader shift within the insurance industry away from technology-only transformation projects toward integrated operating models combining software, AI tools, consulting and third-party services.

Neither company disclosed financial terms of the partnership.
