PERKASIE, PA — Furia Rubel Communications, Inc. has been recognized in the inaugural dispute services guide from Legal 500, as law firms increasingly seek outside communications support to manage reputational risk tied to high-profile litigation, regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
The Pennsylvania-based agency, which focuses on crisis communications and litigation public relations for the legal industry, indicated that the recognition reflects growing demand for strategic messaging services that align with legal strategy during sensitive disputes.
Furia Rubel works with law firms, general counsel and communications executives on matters including white-collar defense, complex commercial litigation and government investigations. Services include media strategy, attorney preparation, public narrative management and guidance on public disclosures during active legal proceedings.
“Messaging around high-stakes matters is some of the most important work communications professionals can do on behalf of a law firm,” Gina Rubel, the company’s chief executive officer and general counsel, said in a statement. “We focus on strategies that protect credibility and preserve reputation.”
The Legal 500 guide evaluates firms that provide support services to the legal industry through submissions, client feedback and interviews with law firm leaders, according to the organization.
Furia Rubel stated that law firms typically engage litigation communications firms when lawsuits or investigations begin attracting media attention, when reputational exposure escalates, or when external messaging must be coordinated with legal strategy.
The agency was founded in 2002 by Rubel, a former Philadelphia trial lawyer, and serves clients across the United States and internationally. Its work includes litigation communications, crisis management, attorney media training and strategic advisory services for law firm leadership teams.
The company also produces “On Record PR,” a podcast focused on legal marketing, communications and law firm management.
